New laws and funding to implement these policies came about because people are valued more positively, regardless of their abilities. This Positive Values in Service training module is intended to provide a brief introduction to several key concepts that impact positive values toward people with disabilities and services that promote enviable lives for people with disabilities.

  2. Examine own attitude toward people with an intellectual disability
  3. Promote the following in caring for a person with an intellectual disability:
